ABOUT US

The Nirmal Panchayati Akhara was established in 1862 AD by kings and Maharajas for the propagation of Gurumat. A book titled ‘Shri Nirmal Panth Prakash’ written by Kothari Sant Jaswinder Singh Shastri gives complete knowledge about the origin of the Nirmal sect, knowledge, rules and attire, propagation, establishment of Nirmal Panchayati Akhara, rules and regulations of the Akhara and the life of the former Srimahant Sahiban of the Akhara, etc. The Akhara is the highest representative institution of the Nirmal Panth and is located on the holy banks of the Bhagwati Bhagirathi Maa Ganga in Haridwar Kankhal. It has constructive religious and social objectives, preserves Sanskrit and culture, and plays an important role in the promotion of glorious historical and spiritual traditions, the coordination of Guruvaani and the Vedic scriptures.

The Akhara actively participates in major events like the Maha Kumbh Mela, using it as a platform to share their knowledge and insights. Our activities extend to supporting the study and teaching of knowledge, literary creation, and service to Guru Dhams. We are dedicated to propagating Gurmat, preserving Sanskrit and culture, and coordinating Guruvaani with Vedic scriptures. Additionally, the Akhara undertakes welfare projects aimed at spiritual upliftment and social service, pursuing constructive religious and social objectives.
